We are proud of our 17th century building and the work we have done to make it The Boot.
We have created a traditional pub in our wonderful 17th century building and given it a modern twist but in a clean and responsible way, creating a wonderful environment for the whole family to relax and enjoy our fresh food.

I went to this place for Mothers Day .
Fantastic time i had .
The food was excellent , as was the service and staff were lovely . The main guy who may have been the owner couldn't do enough to help .
It was lovely there and the place felt so comfortable, with a welcoming feel .
Don't forget to phone and book as the place is always busy which is not surprising.
You won't be disappointed.

I photographed a wedding here over the summer and absolutely loved the relaxed festival vibe. A tipi wedding was particularly welcome on one of the hottest days of the year. The food was honestly absolutely stunning and the staff were really dedicated. Brilliant choice for a Suffolk tipi / festival wedding.

Absolutely gorgeous pub. Found it by accident a few weeks ago and was impressed by the warm welcome and proper teapots. Went back today for a meal. I'm currently on keto and they could not have been more accommodating! Had a cured meats board and it was superb. Good sized meals and wonderful service. Really interesting menu with some truly varied options, definitely not run of the mill, but still has traditional meall choices too. Thoroughly recommend
